Ali Gilbert Bio
Ali Gilbert is a British born self taught Singer/Songwriter from Tamworth UK and has been performing music since the age of 18. From his early 20’s he has written his own original material and since gone on to release his debut EP ‘Truth Be Told’ which includes
5 tracks which include popular singles ‘Runaway’ and ‘Only You’ based on real life personal experiences about love rejection and mental health. After receiving recognition from local press and radio stations such as BBC Introducing he has built a loyal fanbase
and had achieved successes in unsigned music competitions Open Mic UK and Soundwaves Music Competition in which he reached the National Finals in both competitions. After catching the interest of promoters AMG (Academy Music Group) he has performed at prestigious
venues such as Cafe 1001 London The Sunflower Lounge NEC, supported popular Indie/Folk Australian Band Sons Of The East and recently sold out the 02 Academy 3 Birmingham on his debut headline EP launch party. His main influences in music are artists such as
Plan B Ed Sheeran Justin Timberlake Chris Brown The 1975 James Morrison Paolo Nutini and Motown.
