Among You is a progressive metalcore band based out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Among You merges their love of heavy music with their experience in symphonic and jazz ensembles to create a sound of their own. By using meaningful lyrics and riffs that get the listener moving, they seek to evolve the concept of what ‘Modern Metalcore’ is. The name Among You was designed to show their empathetic nature towards the adversities and sufferings that humanity endures. They as a band call this community ‘The Abstract Society’. The ability to write music with impactful lyrics is because they are not superior to the Abstract Society; rather, among them.
