Singer/Songwriter and guitarist from the Midlands UK. Former front man of rock and roll bands Swift Flasby and Exile84.
Started solo project in 2016 with the plan to record a solo acoustic album. Work began on getting an EP recorded with producer Dan Gallagher. Early into the project the realisation that the songs could become something a lot bigger than first anticipated hit home. This got us thinking we could get session musicians in and give it a real full band feel. With Dan himself on bass we then acquired lead guitarist Dan Baker and drummer Huw Griffiths to join us on the project.
The first EP named “Session One” was recorded in September 2016 at Fox Den Studios in Sheffield and consisted of three tracks “Walking Man”, ” Hot Princess” and ” Back In My Arms”
The tracks have a sort of indie/rock feel with a sprinkle of a country vibe. The EP was released on 3/2/2017 on SoundCloud, Spotify, I tunes, Tidal and all other major download and streaming sites.
After building up a chemistry recording together we wanted to do some live shows, this resulted in an EP launch party and the creation of the band Andy Crowe & The Eisen Brothers.
Early 2017 was spent gigging as much as possible both acoustically solo and with the band. During this period a lot of time was spent in local studio Arch Recordings working on new tracks to be recorded later in the year and with a stronger working relationship between the band songs were coming together thick and fast. In May 2017 we headed back up to Fox Den Studios to continue work on the album and recorded 3 more tracks “Turned Me Around”, “Took This Heart” and “Let Your Eyes See”. These songs had a similar feel to the original EP again dipping into the country vibes put keeping the rock and roll swagger that had been come common place at the live shows. The summer saw some great festival opportunities including performances at Y Not Festival and Osfest which really helped in expanding the fan base.
The remaining of 2017 was spent largely writing and playing the local open mic circuit, testing out new tracks.
2018 is starting with a single and video release of “Turned Me Around” on the 2nd of March
