Black Star Jackals

Described by A&R Factory as a “melodically gifted powerhouse”, Glasgow based Black Star Jackals burst on to the scene at the start of 2019. The alt-rock 4 piece have quickly garnered new fans, radio airplay and positive reviews from industry professionals thanks to their infectious melodies and hard rock vibes.

Their goal? To be bring proper rock music and bands back into the mainstream.

Kieran McFarlane’s soaring vocals, Steven Joseph’s infectious guitar hooks, Max Lamprecht’s pounding bass lines and Calum Macpherson’s hard hitting drum beats all combine to create a sound that is distinctly their own.

In Summer 2019 they won the Scottish Final of the Soundwaves Music Competition.

Their debut single Maybe received critical acclaim and was voted as one of the top 10 tracks in Regular Radio’s Independent Hottest 100 in 2019.
