Band Bio

Born from the ashes of their former band, Danny Porter, Andy Wordsworth, and Scott Emery formed Blame The Sacred in the Autumn of 2017.

The band released their debut EP ‘Life or Death’ in the summer of 2018, with the title track featuring on BBC radio, and played shows and festivals around the country in support of it.

Porter/Wordsworth/Emery brought in Kriss Rayner and Wez Gill (formerly of Face The Fear/Dead Sense) in the spring of 2019 on guitar and bass respectively to complete the much sought after sound the band wanted.

The bands single ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ received airplay on Planet Rock, and was released in September 2019.  Blame The Sacred saw out the year playing shows with bands such as Blackwater Conspiracy, Yesterdays Gone, and DeadBlondeStars.

After aligning themselves with management company ForgeAMP, the band headed into the studio to record the follow-up to ‘Life or Death’.  New EP ‘The Path’ was released 27th March 2020 receiving many great reviews including 9/10 in powerplay magazine issue 230.

Whilst Covid-19 kept everyone indoors, Blame the Sacred kept their creativity flowing, and have been working on brand new music which they are looking forward to releasing throughout 2020.
