Fugitive frontman Michael Angel said about the new single “With ‘Raised on Rock’ we sought to capture the strength and spirit we’ve witnessed this year in the rock community. We wanted to create a rock anthem, with a memorable hook, that could form part of a new generation of tracks that make people smile when they switch on the radio. It’s a big ask, but we are really proud of what we’ve achieved. It’s been a difficult year for us all, but this feels like something really positive to come from 2020! We raise our glass and toast you all.

Fugitive are a hard melodic rock band from Liverpool, UK and proof positive that you should never give up on your dreams.

Michael and Ranko are long-time musical partners and have produced 2 studio albums under the name of FUGITIVE (MKI), with 2020/21 being their 30th year in music together, but in 2018 the band came out of hiatus and were reborn, with bassist, David Haskayne joining up to produce ‘The Awakening’. With the addition of new rock brother Pete O’Connor completing the new band line up for 2020, Fugitive are set to build on the solid foundations laid during the past couple of years and return to the music scene with a renewed vigour.

Likened by press to Dokken, Night Ranger, Whitesnake & Autograph, Fugitive released the acclaimed album ‘The Awakening’ (Amazon rock chart #10) in April 2019 and have since attacked the chart with multiple successful singles (reaching #5 twice).

The 4-piece have enjoyed success on the UK’s live circuit both as a headline act and as guests to the likes of Blaze Bayley & Hand Of Dimes. They continue to be a popular festival band with their high energy and visually engaging show, having graced the likes of Hard Rock Hell AOR, Wildfire, Gravity Fest, HRH Ibiza, TMR RockFest to name just a few.

They are now hard at work writing the follow up to ‘

The Awakening’ with plans to re-enter the studio as soon as the COVID-19 Pandemic safely allows.
