Kirby

KIRBY is a 20 year old singer songwriter from Derby, the East Midlands in the UK.

In 2018 KIRBY self penned her debut EP titled Miss Independent. This EP contains 5 tracks written solely by KIRBY. Tracks from the EP titled, Fight, I.D.N.Y and You Filled A Space have since gone on to be played by the BBC Introducing network in the East Midlands.

KIRBY released her second self written EP titled Real Talk in July 2019. This EP again showcases KIRBY’s songwriting abilities, with the aim to help pursue her dream of being a credible internationally known singer songwriter. All 5 Tracks Call Me, Mess To You, So Cool, Back To Me and Enemy have again been aired by the BBC Radio Network with So Cool being awarded the BBC Introducing in the East Midlands Track of the Week in August 2019.

In 2020 KIRBY released two remixes of her songs Mess To You (Alfie Vee Remix) and I.D.N.Y – Alfie Vee Remix with the remix of Mess To You being awarded the BBC Introducing in the East Midlands Track of the Week in April 2020. KIRBY has also co-written and featured on a track with Brad Ryan and COREY V called Between Us plus a remix of Back To Me featuring 16 year old KANDA.

In September 2020 KIRBY released Runaway, the first self written single of 5 brand new tracks due to be released over the next 6 months. Runaway is fast becoming one of KIRBY’s most successful independent releases after being added to over 270 playlists including Spotify Editorial Playlist New Pop UK within the first week. It’s also reached over 75 Countries within 2 weeks.

KIRBY is fast becoming a credibly known independent singer-songwriter and is certainly someone to look out for especially in the next few years.
