Birmingham based punk rock band Maxwell Avenue have released their brand new EP “Happily Never After” now “Johnny Jeff” is the 2nd single released from their debut EP.
Single Information
Johnny Jeff was written about my life as a teenager, growing up as a sort of outcast individual who wishes he could be the popular guy around who gets all the girls and does what he wants in his own unique way. It’s a song about going after what you want most in life and dreaming you can be anything you want to be. The track is a personal favourite of mine from off our first EP ‘Happily Never After’ which tells the tale of teenage life growing up.
Band Bio
Maxwell Avenue are a British pop/rock band from Birmingham, the band has been together since 2017 consisting of 3 members (Ben Woodward, Jake McCarthy Mansbridge & Samuel Warrington). Their sound has been described as a fresh blend of 1950’s Rockabilly with modern 2000’s punk pop, imagine early The Beatles meets Blink-182. Their new EP is the first major release since the band started.
