Formed in late 2015 by college friends George Stackhouse and Jamie Bee, Rawkus Redz is the result of four metal-headed Midlanders picking out the best bits of modern rock music and taking it to a whole new level.
Rawkus Redz’ main driving force is singer, guitarist and songwriter George Stackhouse, however this is not to undervalue the band’s musical and creative input from guitarist Jamie Bee. Rawkus Redz have never been anything other than a rock band. However, their overall sound has morphed as a result of the differing musical influences inspiring George and Jamie when writing the band’s material, the ultimate aim being to create music that is ear-grabbing but that sits firmly and identifiably within the modern hard rock genre.
The current live lineup of Rawkus Redz consists of George on lead vocals and guitar, Jamie on guitar and backing vocals, George’s brother Charlie on drums and Tom Hetzel on bass guitar.
