Marking a new era for Struck/Down, the ‘From Demons..’ EP follows the tale of Father Bernard, a creative narrative supported through use of video.
Father Bernard, a cursed priest, is destined to pursue the evil doings of an ancient witch throughout the ages, and finds himself causing chaos in the modern world, intertwining the lives of several characters.
The EP sees Struck/Down take on a darker, heavier tone, and cements their sound as a mixture of doom and groove metal.
Lyrically, the songs are threaded with metaphors of the band’s struggles in life, past and present, giving way to a euphoric release of aggression, sorrow, and passion.
‘From Demons..’ is Part One of a Double EP, with Part Two yet to be announced.
