The Darker my Horizon burst onto the UK music scene in
March 2015, with acclaimed independent debut album
‘Acquiesce’ garnering incredible reviews from all over the
world. 2016’s ‘No Superhero’ was released through Broken
Road Records – “Dear Olivia” has proven extremely popular & is
highly regarded within rock circles.
On November 1st 2019 our third album ‘Seize The Day’ was
released to quite the fanfare – after a very successful pledge
campaign saw all sales levels sold out. The first two videos/
singles “On My Way” & “Still Alive” have had almost 2000
likes on Facebook.
All 3 albums – including ‘Seize The Day’- feature in multiple
“best of this year’s releases” & has lead to incredible live
dates…
including:
Hard Rock Hell 14 (headlined stage 2) / Breaking Bands
Festival / Wildfire Festival Showcase & multiple regional
festivals, as well as headline shows all across the UK,
encompassing Scotland, Wales and England.
In our first 6 years we have played at iconic festivals, and
landmark venues, and with some of the most respected
rockers, and some of the very best of the new breed, such
as: The Wildhearts, Terrorvision, Phil Cambell & TBS’s,
Nazareth, Stone Broken, Geoff Tate’s Operation:Mindcrime,
Chasing Dragons, Leatherwolf, Hells Addiction, Steve
Grimmett’s Grim Reaper, Enuff Z’Nuff,
Collateral, Terry Brock (Strangeways, Kansas), Piston & more…

Our original Facebook page had almost 11,000 legitimate likes/
followers when it was hacked and lost at the end of 2020.
We offer professional & thorough promotion, we work
tirelessly to show appreciation to our incredible supporters,
and we always bring our A-game to performances, both in
approach and execution – where we like to have fun, which
comes across as we bring the crowd “in”.
We’re influenced by classic hard rockers like Whitesnake,
GnR, Def Leppard etc through to todays arena fillers like
Black Stone Cherry, Nickelback & Shinedown – and
everything in-between.
The Darker my Horizon features former members of Sacred
Heart (who released 4 albums between 2004 and 2011,
played with Thunder, The Quireboys, Asia, Blaze
Bayley/Wolfsbane, Kee Marcello of Europe & many others):
